Weather today than it was then. the highlanders had a good day that day. they were a good team, terrible uniforms, but a good team. but the unique thing about fenway park, i think not only to me, who has spent a lot of time here, but to people who come here occasionally or perhaps even only once is it s a place where memory marries myth. you can sit here and be, you know, with your family, you take your kids here and they have a permanent recollection of coming to a ball game. it s so small. so close. that you can see the players. you can get a feel for the players. you can come, you know, with your great friends, and baseball being the kind of sport it is, you can have a conversation during the game. tim russert and i used to come here all the time. wonderful, wonderful memories of those days and those games. it s a great, great place. it is the true magic kingdom. and for all of the baseball memories, there was one where ted williams wasn t playing in 1998 that was maybe the be ....
Question mark. i actually highly doubt they ll be able to play it because of the storm coming up the east coast. boston forecast, saturday looks fine. sunday into monday, a lot of heavy rain. for all of new england. so let me get to that storm. it s in the middle of the country right now. this is the one that s going to wash out some people s plans over the weekend. so saturday, just some showers traveling up through pennsylvania, new york state, maybe some thunderstorms late in the afternoon around d.c. that s your typical afternoon shower and storms. not a big deal. not going to ruin your plans. but the storm that s in florida as we go through saturday, drenching florida, on sunday, it s going to bring heavy rain right up through the mid-atlantic. and then as we go through sunday afternoon, evening, that heavy rain will be up through new england. willie, once again, if you have weekend plans in new england, do them on saturday. sunday looks like a washout. have fun up there. all ri ....
