An attempt to arrest a Gaffney, South Carolina, man wanted for armed robbery turned into a SWAT standoff, then a chase Thursday morning, the sheriff said.
A suspect has been arrested following a drive-by shooting that left a man seriously injured last week in Cherokee County, according to Sheriff Steve Mueller with Cherokee County Sheriff's Office.

Upon arrival, officers found a female with a gunshot wound to the head.
