High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh Pranay Verma inaugurated the first overseas office of Numaligarh Refinery Ltd (NRL) in Dhaka. The setting up of NRL’s liaison office in Bangladesh will provide a boost in facilitating collaborations in the power and energy sector.
The office was inaugurated in presence of Bhaskar Jyoti Phukan, Managing Director Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL). Also present on the occasion were Khalid Ahmed, Director (O&P), Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC), and Md. Tipu Sultan, MD, Meghna Petroleum Ltd and senior officers of NRL. This is the first overseas office of the NRL.
