They are working on getting the street cleaned up enough to open it. They have replaced the hydrant down at the end but take a look at this. This car still just caked in ice. We have not seen anyone checking on it at this point today, so how would you break through this stuff . We found out today. It will take work to get this stuff off. The sevenday in a few minutes. All right, glenn. The water is back on, the street is open in a West Philadelphia neighborhood after a water main break that left this icy mess. The frigid weather caused the water ta freeze on the roads and on cars. This woman used a hammer to crack right through the ice. Quite the job. Id rather deal with the snow than this here. The Water Department tells nbc 10 the arctic air made repairs a challenge because those valves kept freezing. For those who dont mind feeling frozen there are events going on outside this weekend. Old but boy did she know how to fall. She just rolld and my daughter she was still fully intact. She didnt hit the ground. She wasnt even crying. I was so amazed by the way she was able to roll and fall, and so as an adult thinking back on a lot of my memories and remembering like the different lessons that people have brought to me. I remember my grandmother she knew how to fall but she knew how to fall, and so when i come to those points in my life where i feel like im falling i just know that we know how to do that. We know how to roll and we know how to roll and when we work hard we know how to work hard and do it with some style, so i am really fortunate to have just a great family and i am really honored.
