Photo: WINA CHARLOTTESVILLE (WINA) – There’s a new name for the downtown pavilion to which Fridays At Five returns in a couple of weeks. Pending approval June 7 by City Council for a name change, the pavilion’s Kirby Hutto says they will become the Ting Pavilion. Ting Internet has been part of the Charlottesville community since 2014, and Hutto says they’ve been talking to each other at times over the past 3-to-4 years. Hutto says Sprint went away after they merged with T-Mobile, and the time for a new name is here. Red Light Management, the Charlottesville Pavilion, and Ting Internet have entered a five year agreement. ....
