Vine street expressway underneath where there are no traffic lights is also of course jam packed across town. Getting onto 95 northbound, 54 minutes going on an hour on the northbound side. Thats about four times what it should be. At least you can see the lanes here. The lanes are mostly wet but theyre slippery enough that people are really needing to slow down and as we look at the big picture, you get a sense of all the red and all the single digit speeds around the region. It really is nasty. We had an overturned vehicle on the southbound northeast extension near quakertown. Looks like thats now off to the side so just starting to improve there with speeds in the 30s and in south jersey our travel times, a little better than it was earlier but still a really slow pace on the southbound side of 42. Bands of some heavier snow across parts of south jersey where you can see kind of that pinkish color near hammonton, near medford lakes, Atlantic City, lbi, this is where were getting more moderate snow. Generally were looking at one to 3 inches of snow. So, its not a lot of snow, its the timing during the evening commute. Its affecting visibilities. You can see philadelphia and trenton visibility less than a mile. Atlantic city airport visibility less than a mile and a half but you can see how things are really clearing out. Reading visibility up to 8 miles so this is a very quick hit. The problem, though, temperatures have been stuck in the 20s all day long, so any flake is sticking on the roads. Its 25 in philadelphia. Trenton 23. Reading 22 and the north and west suburbs, temperatures will be dropping down into the teens tonight. So, do be careful with icy spots on the roads even after the snow ends. The electrical problems caused gridlock on the ben franklin parkway. Its been horrible. I have been trying to get home for hours. And youre stuck. And your dog is an si too. We have been stuck for four hours. This is on top of the messy snowstorm that hit the tristate area. This school bus got stuck on the ice with kids onboard at 56 and lebanon in wind field. It was ridiculous. Was it . It was really ridiculous. My bus took five minutes. We were coming up from third and market. We were trying to sight see, but it probably wasnt a good day to do that.
