Shooting. The victim Katherine Stanley was walking along the pier when she collapsed. And her father said that he didnt even know she had been shot. Beautiful family, thats the only solice ive got. Reporter they had eaten at perrys. As so many people do they took a stroll across the street and walked down scenic pier 14. We were walking, kate and i and a friend of ours thats here visiting. There was a pop. And, kate went down. Reporter the noise at first didnt register as a gunshot to kates father or a near by resident who took this home video. Two or three guys were at the end of the pier and they rushed over. Ran over to help her. Reporter the Good Samaritans crouched by kates father in the white shirt who bent over his daughter. Kate told her dad she didnt feel well. It turns out she had been shot. Police swept the area and ktvu saw Police Taking a man into custody, it was down the street at pier 38. That man is francisco sanchez. Hes known to be on probation from the state of texas
