Highway early this afternoon. The sunset solidarity march began at sloat and protesters marched to lincoln. Demonstrators have gathered again in vallejo to protest the death of george floyd. The city, however, reeling and really on edge after reports of looting over the weekend. Last night city hall was broken into. A fire was set on the first floor. That caused the sprinklers to go off. The citys mayor says it is now uninhabitable in the building, and the police chief is really appalled at what he saw happening. This was a coordinated attack by organized individuals seeking to cause destruction and harm to our community. And no such acts will be tolerated. Vallejo did issue a curfew last night that started at 8 00 p. M. , lasting until 5 00 a. M. It is in place until further notice. Protests against george death has broken out across the country, including here in the bay area. Hundreds of people posttesting in oakland and san jose tonight. The demonstrations, at times, pretty violent. That outreach spreading across the country tonight. Thank you for joining us. And tonight, in oakland, protesters were out on the streets. Protesters were blocking the highway at 880. You can see in the video this is from the broadway exit. You can see here that people were on the freeway. At one point traffic had to come to a screeching halt because the protesters ran onto the freeway. Here is a live look from sky fox at the protest happening right now in oakland. We saw a short time ago someone set fire to something. It appears that other people who are a part of the demonstration put out that fire as well. You can see fire trucks on the scene.
