2:37 p.m.: A resident of Loring Street reported receiving a call from their employer that a claim for unemployment benefits had been filed in the resident s name. Reports with the state s Department of Unemployment Assistance have been filed.
4:06 p.m.: A resident of Longwood Drive reported receiving an order confirmation from Chewy.com for items they had not ordered. The items were to be sent to Dunedin, Fla.; an investigation revealed that neither the listed phone number or email came from Chewy.com. Police believe it may have been an attempt to trick the resident into calling the provided 1-800 number and try to glean personal information.
