Dressed in a tuxedo and standing in front of the waiting wedding band, the club’s owner departed from the usual pleasantries about the happy couple, embarking on a tirade about China, Iran and border control – ‘… the border’s not good…’ – and a rant about the election result – ‘We did get 75 million votes. Nobody’s ever gotten that’ – before remembering at the last moment to mention the ‘great and beautiful’ couple whose wedding it was. ....
