If our expectation is that we collectively need to do the Work Together to get our kids to where we need to be, so i want to appreciate your willingness to also not start from scratch and build on what we are already doing, because i do believe that there is strength in many of the areas, and we also have some areas where were weak. And you called a lot of that out, and i want to continue to work from an asset based model and acknowledging when we were actually in the areas that we are doing well, because we it always feels like we are doing nothing, and i want to understand what we will be doing differently, and what youll need from us to be successful. The bart station and people flipped out and they said you have to do your share because were doing our share. What has happened is human greed has not been regulated. We have heard from people who are victims and about speculators and human greed has nod been speculated. Theres enough money to go around. I think we have reached the point where we need to put controls up or we will not recognize ourselves as a city and county of San Francisco. Having said that ill also want to emphasize how important a report like this is. It gives us something to really look at and hold ourselves accountable to. I want to say i dont think this build, build, build more housing actually brings down the prices of housing just from looking at the data you gave me. Place in San Francisco. It is an unappreciated institution because of its advocacy for being on the front line for anything related to challenges with our community, the displacement of our community, the issues with our children in the public schools. Every single occasion when there has been an issue in the city and county of San Francisco related to our community, 3rd baptist is at the front lines, trying to make sure we speak truth to power and we change the city for the better, and so it is only fitting that we come here today in city hall, and we celebrate our community, our accomplishments, and all that we have done to make San Francisco a better place, but more importantly, we leave a Lasting Legacy with the changes in

Demands on rail Service Continue to grow in San Francisco. And if you look at the cranes in the sky, if you look at the projections of growth, thats only going to continue and so we need a better, more reliable, higher capacity, more enjoyable way for people to be able to get through the city and that is exactly these rail cars signify for us. This car is the first of 24 of the first batch that will be going into service. Those 24 will be in service before the end of next year. Following that, there is another 44 that come and these are all in addition to the 151 cars that we currently have in service. So, this is expansion. That means more service. That means longer trains. More twocar trains. More threecar trains and more frequent service along our raillines, which is really the workhorse of the muni system. And it is not just capacity. But these vehicles have been excepti ....
