Del Norte COVID-19 Update: 13 New Cases Identified Courtesy of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Thirteen new COVID-19 cases were reported to the Del Norte Public Health Branch, officials announced Monday. The new cases appear to be a significant increase from the three new cases reported on Thursday, according to Del Norte County’s COVID-19 Information Hub. Seven new cases had been reported Wednesday. The total number of active cases in Del Norte County has also increased from 12 on Wednesday to 14 on Thursday and 22 on Monday, according to the county’s Information Hub. However there are currently no hospitalizations from COVID-19 and no cases among the county’s incarcerated population, according to the county web page. ....
April 16 through April 22 Heather Sue Arnold, 29, of Crescent City, was convicted of wet/reckless driving, driving on a suspended license and failure to appear in court and was sentenced to one year of probation, five days in jail and fines of $ 2,577. Seth Harlan Bauer, 37, of Crescent City, was convicted of transientâs violation of registration law and was sentenced to one year of probation, 30 days in jail and a fine of $300. Ronald Craig Berry, 57, of Fort Dick, was convicted of two cases violating parole and was sentenced                120 days jail. Jennifer Lynne Burleigh, 38, of Crescent City, was convicted of DUI with a prior conviction and violating probations and was sentenced to four years of probation, 90 days in jail and fines of $3,150. ....
