Conversation between residents and Council Members. It was at 3 00 a. M. That those Council Members ultimately decided that change needed to happen in the city of berkeley. So they made the decision to initiate that change that could ultimately be the blueprint for agencies across the nation. Now, were going to break down exactly what the vote means. So, last night there were five proposals related to policing, which were ultimately combined into one omnibus insure. Those proposals included suggestions to create a new department, to handle trafficrelated stops and duties, and audit those police calls and response.
