UPDATE: SUSPECT IS IN CUSTODY Wayne County Sheriff's Deputy, Sean Riley was shot and killed before daylight this morning on Interstate 64 while responding to a motorist assist call shortly before 5 am. When another officer arrived at the scene, Deputy Riley was discovered deceased. The suspects then stole the deputy's patrol vehicle which was later found abandoned. An official near the scene said the deputy was pronounced dead at 5:07 Wednesday morning. Interstate 64 was shut down for an extended period of time while the heavily armed manhunt took place. It is believed the suspect then hijacked a semi-truck driver who dropped him off in St Peter Missouri. St. Peters police confirmed the suspect wanted in the deputy's death was later connected to a shooting and carjacking at a QuikTrip on Main Street.
