Wyndham/Fitzjohn/MacIntosh/Hassett Street intersection project update
Greater Shepparton City Council’s works to widen Wyndham Street along the Victoria Park Lake frontage are due to be completed by Wednesday 23 December, with the works on the Wyndham/MacIntosh/Fitzjohn/Hassett intersection due to be completed in the new year.
Work on the intersection component will resume from Monday 11 January. Traffic will continue to be reduced to one lane through the intersection over the Christmas break, however the lanes along the frontage of the lake have been reopened.
The road improvements will increase the safety of one of the municipality’s busiest attractions, and are being completed as part of the contract to install traffic signals at the Wyndham Street/Railway Line/MacIntosh Street/Hassett Street and Fitzjohn Street intersection. ....
