Its hard for me to believe its been a decade. Weve done two committees together. Tonight i want to talk to you not as a senator but as the only superintendent of schools who has ever run for president of the United States. I worked with kids in the Denver Public schools before i went to the senate. Its a School District thats got about a billion dollar budget. For reference, thats about three times the size of a certain municipality in the state of indiana. Im just saying. It has 95,000 children
