February 8, 2021 MACOMB/MOLINE, IL - - The Western Illinois University Financial Aid office will celebrate Financial Aid Awareness Month in February with a series of events and activities.
Each fall, students across the country can begin the process of applying for financial aid through the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Throughout the month of February, the higher education community celebrates Financial Aid Awareness Month, in an effort to provide crucial information to students and families about access to federal, state and institutional student aid.
Activities will include an online scavenger hunt, webinars on how to fill out the FAFSA, parent tips and give-aways. Students will also have an opportunity to enter to win an Apple iPad Air.
