The ACC released the 2023 All-ACC Women’s Indoor Track and Field Academic team on Tuesday and 15 Florida State student-athletes were named to the team which requires a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. In addition, student-athletes must have competed in the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships and/or the NCAA Indoor Championships during the most recent season.
FSU’s top performers from the Academic Team include senior Faith Banks who broke the facility record in the women’s 400-meter with the third-best time (52.88) in FSU history in the prelims and Amani Heaven who was runner-up in the shot put with a throw of 16.54 meters.
Also posting a top-five finish at the ACC Championship and making the Academic Team was Alexandra Websters who was third in the 60-meter hurdle with a time of 8.26.

In addition, student-athletes must have competed in the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships and/or the NCAA Indoor Championships during the most recent season. The FSU men’s team finished second at the ACC Indoor Championships and 14th at the 2023 NCAA Championships. The Noles’ top performer from the Academic Team was Taylor Banks who finished sixth in the 60 meter dash with a time of 6.66 at the ACC Championships.
