It was the best and worst of games for Sussex Academy junior goalie Peyton Nagy April 30 at Champions Stadium. The shots Nagy stopped were legit, on a doorstop, with multiple Vikings stoned with “no way” emphasis. The Seahawks are 10-1 on the season. Nagy has played nine games where the opponent has scored six goals or fewer, including six games where she allowed three or fewer. The kid is crazy good, and she does it smoothly, without frenzy. She sees the ball and she can clear the ball. Peyton had 13 saves March 29 in a 13-8 win over Archmere. There’s a big game coming up for the Seahawks Tuesday, May 11, when they head on the road to Ursuline. It’s guaranteed that hall of fame coach Feffie Barnhill of Ursuline knows all about Peyton Hagy.
