(KELO.com) A Sioux Falls man is sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for possession of child pornography. Eric Wallace Hedrick, 47, was sentenced Monday by Federal District Judge Karen E. Schreier. The judge enhanced his sentence because of a prior sexual offense conviction in 2006. Hedrick was turned over to the custody of the U.S. Marshal’s Service. Below is the news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office. – Acting United States Attorney Dennis R. Holmes announced that a Sioux  Falls, South Dakota, man convicted of Possession of Child Pornography was sentenced on July 26, 2021, by U.S. District Judge Karen E. Schreier.

He speculated on grain trades, and then failed to pay millions to farmers. He and his wife, Tami, could face five years in the state penitentiary. His mother, JoAnn also pleaded guilty to a felony of failing to inform state regulators that her company was failing financially. 8:57 pm, Jun. 29, 2021 × South Dakota Attorney General lawyers extracted guilty pleas from Jared, Tami and JoAnn Steffensen of Arlington, S.D., for felonies related to conspiring to mislead farmers and grain regulators.
