Blaine Havens, son of Joy and Jasen Havens, is the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center’s February Student of the Month.
Blaine is a senior from Beaver Local High School and is enrolled in the Precision Machining and Manufacturing (PMM) Program under the instruction of Matt Peters. He has taken College Credit Plus (CCP) classes since 2018 and is a current member of the Youngstown State Honors College earning the Gene Haas Foundation Scholarship. Upon graduation, he will have earned 38 college credits toward a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Blaine is a member of SkillsUSA, Beaver Local National Honor Society (NHS), CCCTC chapter of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS), and is a member of the Beaver Local swim team. Colonel Crawford Lions honor CCHS students

The Colonel Crawford Lions Club honored Colonel Crawford High School seniors Kevin Phillips, Allison Teglovic, and Blaine Bishop as the students of the month for December through February. Phillips was the December student of the month. Bishop was the January student of the month. Teglovic was the February student of the month. They each received a certificate and a check for $50.

After a hiatus from normal dinner meetings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Colonel Crawford Lions have resumed their regular schedule.
As part of that happening, three Colonel Crawford Students of the Month for the 2020-2021 school year and their family members were guests of the club at their April 8 meeting. Each student was presented with a commemorative certificate and a check for $50.

BELLOWS FALLS â Ashleigh Clarke-Williams has been named the February Elks Student of the Month for Bellows Falls Union High School. Ashleigh, a senior, is the daughter of Tara Clarke of Bellows Falls.
Ashleigh is a dedicated student who works hard in her classes. She comes to school prepared, works hard to thoroughly complete assignments to meet expectations and uses feedback to improve her skills. Always willing to participate in class discussions, she offers insightful comments and asks good questions.
Ashleigh arrives to school with a smile on her face and pep in her step that sets a positive tone in the classroom. She is friendly and courteous and a pleasure to work with.
