He is alleged to have killed his 29yearold wife crystal saturday at their woodbridge home. Prosecutors maintain she called 911 prior to the shooting and when the officers arrived hamilton opened fire on them, wounding two, killing Ashley Guindon. Guindons first day on the job. I always call this an officers worst nightmare. To go to a routine call and wind up dead. Stephen Ashley Guindons funeral is going to be held tomorrow. The Law Enforcement officer take the precedent for seating. The other two officers that were injured jesse hempen. We understand he is doing well and recovering well. The other officer David Mckeown, he, we understand, has several surgeries ahead and a long way to recovery ahead of him as wel reporting live, stephen tschida, abc7 news. Jonathan thank you. Guindons mother was here today. She is having trouble comprehending what has happened. 32yearold Ronald Hamilton appeared via closed circuit tv in court and is charged with the capital murder in connection with the shooting death of his wife crystal and officer ashley guindon. Killed her first day on the job. I met with ashleys mom. She seems to be all right. That is the only child. Its her life. She said she will never be the same. Affidavit filed claims 911 came in from the hamilton woodbridge home and states when the officers arrived they found hamilton at the front door and he opened fire with a rifle. Ashley guindon was killed. Officer Jesse Mckeown was shot but survived. The wifes body was found in the bedroom. He should pursue the death penalty, yes. The young lady, yes. Receive the death penalty. All means. Tonight they will be a funeral procession from the funeral home to the church in wood bridge. Reporting live. They are coming to grips with what happened this weekend. Real.
