Tom, where did the pursuit first start . Reporter it is such an odd case. Initially it started way out in the east bay. Lets take a look at the video that we shot. Before noon on westbound 580, a dublin district chp officer got a bolo to look out for a silver chevy impala being driven erratically. The pursuit went from the dublin district right through the san leandro district and into the oakland district to just past where 580 intersects with highway 24. The driver, in attempting to get away, got wedged between a transit shuttlebus and the median barrier. The chp then blocked him in and the driver ran into the chp car and the bus trying to get away. A South Sioux City, nebraska, man faces robbery charges after police say he kicked down the door to a sioux city residence. 20yearold Arturo Silvas is charged with 1st degree robbery after police say he entered a home on west 2nd street. Authorities say he kicked in the door and threated a man with a handgun. Police say silvas left the home arrived. He was located a short time later and taken into custody. A judge has sentenced a storm a judge has sentenced a storm lake, iowa man to five years devices in a home thats across the street from a preschool. The sentence came after 28yearold Dion Caldwell pleaded guilty to possession of an explosive or incendiary device with intent to public offense. Caldwell faced a ten year prison sentence, which a judge suspended in favor of probation.
