The three defendants in the murder of Edgewood resident Roger Courson appeared in Clay County Court Monday. 39-year-old Salem resident Jamie Charlton, 30-year-old Edgewood resident Walter West, and 27-year-old Centralia resident Christopher Gallatin are due in court in November for additional proceedings, with West set for a motion hearing on the 8th, Gallatin for a pre-trial conference on the 15th, and Charlton for a pre-trial conference on the 24th. Gammon was sentenced to prison Tuesday in Wayne County Circuit Court.
