ZAMBOANGA CITY - Two people, including a businessman, were arrested in separate anti-drug operations here, a top police official announced Tuesday. Col. Rexmel Reyes, Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) director, identified the suspect as Mahsum Hasim, 58; and Roland Graciano, 49. Graciano was arrested around 11:15 p.m. Monday in Barangay Tugbungan, Reyes said. He said seized from Graciano were some PHP40,000 worth of suspected shabu, PHP1,370 in different denominations, a motorcycle, and marked money. Meanwhile, Hasim, a fish dealer, was arrested in a buy-bust around 1 a.m. Tuesday in Barangay Baliwasan. Recovered from Hasim were some PHP4,760 worth of suspected shabu, a coin purse, and marked money. The suspects will be charged with the violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
