Baypark Speedway has extended its unrivalled record for producing Super Saloon Car champions with Tauranga s Peter Dickson racing to victory in the 2021 New Zealand Championship.
Dickson moved past Cowling Motorsport teammate Chris Cowling 10 laps into the 30-lap final at Auckland s Waikaraka Park last Saturday and stayed in front to clinch his second national title.
At the time of his first title win in 2017, Dickson was based in Cromwell. Now living in Tauranga, he becomes the 10th different driver to clinch the Super Saloon title while registered at Baypark. ....

LAHORE: An Accountability Court (AC) on Wednesday extended 10-day physical remand of PML-N leader Khawaja Asif, an accused of assets beyond means and money laundering.
The NAB officials produced Khawaja Asif before the Accountability Court Judge Jawad Ul Hassan. The NAB’s Prosecutor Asim Mumtaz requested the court to extend 15-day physical remand of the accused. Asim informed the court that during the course of investigation it was revealed that Khawaja Asif had transferred money into a company account, which was owned by his servant. The prosecutor further claimed that one Tariq Meer, owner of a company ‘Tariq Meer and Company’ in his statement, has confessed that said company is a ‘Benami’ company of Khawaja Asif. ....

LAHORE: An Accountability Court (AC) on Wednesday extended 10-day physical remand of PML-N leader Khawaja Asif, an accused of assets beyond means and money laundering. The NAB officials produced Khawaja Asif before the Accountability Court Judge Jawad Ul Hassan.

The prosecutor further claimed that one Tariq Meer, owner of a company ‘Tariq Meer and Company’ in his statement, has confessed that said company is a ‘Benami’ company of Khawaja Asif. The prosecutor told the court that Tariq Meer and two others deposited Rs510.17 million in the company account, but Asif failed to disclose the source of income. ....

DUBLIN, Jan. 14, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Results from a National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA)-funded study evaluating the efficacy and safety of naltrexone for extended-release injectable suspension (XR-NTX) administered once every three weeks plus oral extended-release bupropion administered daily as a combination treatment for adults with moderate or severe methamphetamine use disorder (MUD) were published today by Dr. Madhukar H. Trivedi et al. in the
New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM).
1 This is the second published study evaluating this combination regimen for the treatment of MUD.

The number of adults living with MUD has risen in recent years. In 2019, approximately 1 million adults in the U.S. reported having a methamphetamine use disorder-an increase of more than 50 percent since 2016. ....
