Hell’s Kitchen chef Van Hurd is the face of this new project from Hartford Baking Co.’s founders, with a menu of doughnuts, egg sandwiches and coffee in the morning that gives way to fried chicken, chicken sandwiches and hearty sides for lunch and dinner.

New Asian restaurants Moon, Kissaki expand sushi scene in Greenwich

Greenwich’s sushi options continue to expand, with the recent addition of Moon on East Putnam Avenue and the soon-to-debut Kissaki on Greenwich Avenue.
Moon, which celebrates its grand opening on Thursday, describes its cuisine as “a celebration of ingredients and flavors from Japanese, Chinese and Thai culture, all prepared with an American twist.” The restaurant features a full-service omakase counter, with 12- and 14-course experiences, along with a la carte nigiri and sushi rolls.
