The national Music Network’s spring 2024 season begins next month with a quartet of highly acclaimed traditional musicians invited to showcase their skills in Co Galway.
“It can be a bit of a loner’s business all this doodling” jokes cartoonist Jim Cogan. “We’re just sitting at home in our studios. At least a festival gets us out to look at each other.”
The National Breast Cancer Research Institute in association with Blackrock Swimwear, are asking as many people as possible to ‘Swim in Pink’ on Sunday, October 22, in Galway at Ladies Beach and help raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research during October, breast cancer awareness month.
