Do you believe in magic? The Friends of the Carson Middle School Band Program hope you do and come out to enjoy an evening of illusion at the Community Center. Earth week kicks off at Western Nevada College with a clothing donation drive for Big Brothers and Sisters.
You’ll need to share the road this morning. It’s the Nevada Walk to School Day and more kids will be walking and biking their way through your neighborhood. Virginia City is in for a crappy weekend, but they asked for it. The annual Outhouse Races begin with a parade down C Street at noon both days.
Heading into the home stretch that is Friday, March 8, 2019 we welcome you to the end of the work week. More spring-like weather is ahead, which isn t exactly all sunshine and flowers. Forecasters say they ll be some sun but also a chance for rain and even some snow showers. Stay tuned.
I’m not exactly sure what a ‘cupcake war’ is, but whatever the Carson Library has planned, it sounds delicious. Just make sure you register online to participate. Today is relatively quiet around town: we always have some great art exhibits to discover, but not too many planned events.
