mess. this is the storm that s going to hammer california and eventually get onshore tomorrow. then our computer models will do a much better job tracking it. we re talking about emerge storm for california. meanwhile new arctic air slide south saturday into sunday. this system moves into the lower mystic river valley sunday, arctic air getting close. late sunday night and monday morning here comes the arctic air probably over the metro area, maybe a little south. add moisture. the cold enough to support snow, but it is going to be cold enough i think to support freezing rain and/or sleet and of the two we d rather have sleet. that bounces off power lines. that may save us. the next storm by the morning commute i think monday hasn t changed. we re still tracking the models rather trending colder, so we re looking at a wintery mix, not that much rain, time frame 5 a.m. monday all the way into tuesday morning early and then we could see rain, ice, everything ending as snow be
