Its been nearly a week since napa was rocked by the biggest earthquake to hit the bay area in 25 years but tonight, the city is getting an unexpected boost from tourists, good evening, im brian hackney. And im ann notarangelo. The quake did 300 million in Property Damage. That does not include damage to public buildings, infrastructure, or the economy. More than 200 people were hurt in the quake and inspectors are still going through damaged buildings. They red tagged more than 150 so far. There is, though, one bright spot tonight. Cate caugurian shows us the damage is helping to draw tourists and their money to napas hard hit downtown. Reporter most of the shops in this area are still shut down, but tourists have been flocking here because the damage has become the attraction. Shops in downtown napa still boarded up.
