I have served as member and president of the parking and traffic commission, the immigrant Rights Commission and the Health Commission. I believe that my colleagues have elected me to these leadership positions because i have demonstrated my dedication to working on and solving difficult issues, as well as representing and supporting those who may not be able to speak for themselves. In those positions of responsibility, i have demonstrate the fiscal awareness and constraint, especially during these difficult budgetary times, ensuring that we address priorities without hurting those who need the help the most.
