Clean UP Grand Island 2024, an annual community event coinciding with Earth Day, is slated for 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 20. It is organized by the Town of Grand Island in partnership with the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce, Grand Island Rotary Club, the Grand Island Lions Club and the Niagara River Greenway. Residents are invited to participate.
Peter Marston, who was inaugurated at a ceremony Monday at the Sandy Beach Yacht Club, said that collaboration, fiscal responsibility and careful growth are some of the priorities he has as town supervisor.
