Take a vaccine or not to comply with the vaccine in the midst of a global pandemic. joshua, i grew up in bangladesh in the 1980s. i was one of the last babies in the world to be vaccinated against smallpox and bangladesh is one of the last countries. i think about how we eradicated major pandemics like smallpox, like polio. i don t think it should be a choice. and i don t think we can afford for people to choose not to get vaccinated. eric, what about the way some companies are dealing with this, including some companies in the media industry. we mentioned the walt disney company. we learned this week cnn fired three staffers who came into their offices unvaccinated in violation of cnn s return to the office policies. the president of cnn sent a memo saying we set a rule, it s no tolerance. and also live nation has announced similar rules as new york city for their concert venues, they re going to say all employees have to be vaccinated to enter events and venues and offices. eric, h ....

I don t know what s wrong with people. i feel like if you re not ready to be on a flight or if you feel like this latest incident, what s being shown right now on the split screen, i mean, i didn t know this was a real story. it almost seemed like something from, i don t know, saturday night live. so i don t want to blame the pandemic. i think people have a lot of issues and if you re not ready to fly, please don t fly. seems like something from the universal studios tours. you go through a set of a crashed plane and then somebody starts getting crazy and the tour guide jumps off and goes, hold it, i can solve this, pulls out a roll, and wraps him up quickly. none of this makes sense. eric, what about the possibility further restrictions for this? the faa has tried introducing large fines. some airlines have cut down on alcohol sales. i haven t heard anything in terms of, like, other mandates, including vaccination mandates on flights. but i m not sure what makes a difference oth ....
Again? i mean, i think for the first time a lot of it has to do with the fact that there s a sense of, like, choice being taken away, like eric was saying. and i think that, you know, the adjustments made during 2020 to be able to do comedy, like having comedy outdoors on rooftops and patios, that put a lot of people at ease. it also facilitated people feeling more comfortable. i think as we get to that threshold where we are, like, slowly creeping in the right direction, once someone s vaccinated, they re vaccinated, you know? so i know that it doesn t completely eliminate the threat and everything doesn t magically go away, but every new person getting vaccinated is a win for all of us to be able to come ....
