“Sai Silk is self-funded. They do not need to raise any great capital. They do not need much capital. On any store level or even at the company level, they can easily do 20% plus ROE and the growth potential is quite well laid down. They had opened around 19 stores last year which are likely to contribute in the current year and they will be opening a similar number of stores in the current year also.”

Nifty with gains of 0.19%, closed above the 18600-mark at 18633.85. The Sensex, too, with gains of 0.2% ended at 62969.13, closer to the all-time high of 63583.07 seen on 1 December 2022.
Among the Sensex firms, Bajaj Finserv, Tata Motors, Asian Paints, ITC, IndusInd Bank, State Bank of India, Tata Steel, Wipro, Infosys and Maruti were the major gainers.
Tech Mahindra, HCL Technologies, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Titan and Larsen & Toubro were the major laggards.
