MANILA - Cloudy weather with some rains will continue over most parts of the country, the weather bureau said Wednesday. In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over the Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan due to the shear line or the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon or "amihan" will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mountain Province, Aurora, Quezon, the Bicol Region, and the rest of Mimaropa. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains are expected over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon due to the northeast monsoon.
