In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the Visayas, Bicol region, Northern Mindanao, Palawan, and the Zamboanga Peninsula will have scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides are likely during moderate to at times heavy rains, PAGASA said. The rest of the country will experience isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms. MANILA - Warm weather with chances of rain showers will prevail over the entire archipelago, the weather bureau said Wednesday. In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said it sees no weather disturbance and low-pressure area (LPA) to affect the country in the next three to five days. "Due to the easterlies as the prevailing weather system, we could expect that it will be warm and humid, especially until noon," PAGASA weather forecaster Ana Clauren said. Rains and thunderstorms may be experienced for a short period in the afternoon or evening. "So don't forget to bring an umbrella to protect yourselves from these possible rains," she added.
