We do have a Flood Warning already in place. Especially for areas oaf the north bay. The napa river at saint hel ena is at 14 feet expected to reach almost 19 feet by nine this morning. Thats above flood stage. Expect minor to moderate flooding especially fort lower end of saint helena. Expect it to go to 25. 3 feet by noontime. Flood stage is 25 feet. Expect minor flooding later today in and around the napa river in napa. The Flash Flood Watch for the north bay as well as the coast can and in to the Santa Cruz Mountains goes until four this afternoon. That means expect ponding of water on the roadways. Quadrant. We watched a home slide down the hill a bit in san rafael. We are in the middle of a break before we brace for more rain tomorrow morning. Even the break, gentlemen, has been fairly wet. As soon as i got in the car and pulled away from the house, it started dumping. It can be a little consistent rain. A lot of that water is up in the hillsides, the mountain sides and pouring down into the creeks and rivers. Im concerned because i dont think this break is big enough. Right. And i have heard that for the weekend, we will have a big wreak for the chinese new years parade. Mark, is this break that were going to have for how long . The bay area could sure use it. In fact theres another system possibly showing up. It is still long range but maybe a week from tomorrow we could be talking about more significant rainfall. All eastbound lanes of 80 near the san pablo exit in richmond are totally shut down. This is creating a monster traffic jam. This is the commute direction. Everyone getting off the freeway now and trying to take city streets. Needless to say those city streets are totally jammed up. As we pan out here will you get some sense of the freeway being closed. There you see the backup of cars. We are also just getting word now that this shooting was targeted. Again, we have two people who have been injured. Three people have been detained. We dont know the extent of the injuries, but just in, new information saying that the victims were targeted in this case. We have two reporters heading to the scene. A busy newscast, lets begin now with more than twodozen shootings on east bay highways. Two people injured in the latest attack that happened yesterday evening in richmond. The shooting and that investigation afterwards caused a huge back up eastbound lanes of 80 closed for hours right at the start of the evening commute. Theres the video from that. Christian captain now at the chp office in vallejo where investigators are discussing the case. We have confirmed the investigation into this latest shooting is being held here at the vallejo headquarters for chp.
