There are now at least four major socialist organizations in Cincinnati, the latest formed after a tiff over some alleged embezzled funds, uncomradely behavior and arguments over whose revolutionary organizing was sufficiently Marxist. A group of 40 members once part of the Cincinnati chapter of Socialist Alternative formed their own organization in June, Cincinnati Socialists. They weren t happy when the national leaders of Socialist Alternative tried to force them to take back a comrade accused of stealing $1,300 from the local chapter. The alleged thief showed a pattern of aggressive and uncomradely behavior, according to a letter signed in June by the 40 members, announcing their intention to leave Socialist Alternative.
