KEARNEY, Neb. The Lincoln men’s basketball team picked up another season sweep Saturday with its 63-49 victory against the Nebraska-Kearney Lopers in MIAA play.
Kaleb Hammeke scored a game-high 20 points Thursday night for the Fort Hays State Tigers, the last two coming on a jumper with no time on the clock to give the Tigers a 59-57 victory against the Lincoln Blue Tigers in MIAA men’s basketball action.
The Lincoln men’s basketball team closed out its non-conference schedule Monday with a 79-64 victory against the Concordia-St. Paul Bears in a neutral-site contest at Concordia-Nebraska. The Blue Tigers scored the first five points and never looked back, leading by as much as 30 points in the wire-to-wire win.
There are dominating victories and then there’s a whole different category the Lincoln Blue Tigers reached Saturday at Jason Gym. The Blue Tigers shot 65 percent as a team and led wire-to-wire for a 128-36 victory against the Calvary Spartans to cap off the program’s first 3-0 start to a season since 2015-16.

The Blue Tigers dominated on the glass and rolled to an 82-61 victory against the William Woods Owls to officially start the season.
