Federal judge Tanya Chutkan granted the Special Counsel Team Request for protective order just yesterday. The protective order seek salute what trump can and cannot disclose about the case, and the trove of evidence that prosecutors are set to turn over to the defense during discovery. Now the government requested a protective order that covered all of the discovery materials. But the judges ruling did not go that far. It does stop trump from publicly sharing quote, material that the government doesnt, designates has sensitive. And quote. About whether they re going to hold? i was listening to your correspondent earlier. and it looks like some of the water levels are lower than they anticipated. you plan for the worst and hope for the best. i think they have done significant work on the levee system in louisiana since katrina. the 2016 floods caused an additional amount of focus on the levee system. at this point, we have to hope that those were designed and built to a standard that will allow it to hold back the water. and we have heard this storm could be a wake-up call to other parts of the country. can you expand on that? even if you re not facing this storm, you should be prepared. absolutely. climate is changing. whether it is temporary or permanent, it is changing and many people argue and debated the cause of that. but from an emergency management standpoint, it s irrelevant at this point. you need to be prepared to handle any circumstances where you live.
Debt ceiling increase. i m talking rolling a supplemental increase on the debt. from an emergency management standpoint, how important is it to your thinking to get a clean supplement? i think everybody wants a clean supplemental. as we tie the hopefully we get a responsible budget. the congress comes together and finds a way to take the president s request and meet it. that would be an ideal answer. you re presupposing that we ll have a continuing resolution. that s not the best way to run a railroad. if that happens, it s fine. not fine but less ideal. the drf supplemental when you say clean should focus on replenishing the disaster relief fund and in other needs that might come for departments and agencies and repairing roads and highways that will be separate and distinct from the debt ceiling. we have every reason to believe that that will happen in a
