James Samuels sentence will be followed by three years of supervised release. The 55-year-old man, detained at the Leavenworth Detention Center, appeared in an orange jumpsuit during the hearing conducted by video conference. Last year, Samuels admitted he purchased 77 firearms from November 2013 to August 2018. He was not a licensed dealer, yet he transferred 47 of the guns to third parties. He made a $40 to $50 profit per firearm, according to prosecutors. ....
