A motion for sanctions based on the alleged spoliation of a missing recording should be denied where the missing recording was produced, according to a ruling from the Eastern District of Michigan.

Huron County sex offender charged with making child porn

BAY CITY, MI Already a registered sex offender, a Huron County man is now facing federal charges for allegedly producing child pornography.
Christopher A. Ciesielski, 50, is charged with single counts of production of child porn and possession-distribution of child porn. The former charge carries a penalty of 15 to 30 years in prison, while the latter’s penalty runs five to 20 years.
According to an affidavit authored by a Michigan State Police trooper, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in October received a tip from Snapchat that an account with the username “ccieslski2020” had uploaded child porn to the internet. The same month, the NCMEC received a tip from Facebook that user “Chris Ciesielski” sent a 59-second video of a child being sexually assaulted.
