christmas, like the blizzard of 1982. you had one of those, bob. yeah. go ahead. i just remember that. i was asking my sister. what our favorite memory? she reminded me that my grandmother used to make all sorts of christmas cookies for the hospital that she was very meticulous about every single one had, like the santa face would have the white frosting with the coconut and the blue eyes and the little silver ball on the hat. she was very good at it. i tried to be patient and do it as well. i haven t carried on that tradition. you had a white christmas a lot, didn t you? we used to have white christmas es in connecticut, but because of global warming, we don t have them any more. but people can travel more and we should be thankful for that. no, not really. but galileo and i are on the same page. how could you politicize this christmas special? greg? i have a couple of memories,
christmas. what he does is he gets everybody and invites everybody in from all over the country to have the perfect christmas. they came in, it was a disaster. but it turns out that it was one of the funniest movies and i loved the christmas decorations and i loved eddie, cousin eddie. they went shopping and chevy says, you don t have any money, do you? and he says no. and chevy says, let me help you out with the kids. and eddie brings out a list and at the end he says, get something for yourself, too. you want to tell the whole movie? spoiler alert. the producers asked us our favorite song and movie. christmas vacation was mine. is there a shark? there is a flying squirrel that ends up on grand in a s back. i love the movie called love actually, which is greg s like
writing a check, i m writing a check. greg will double it. really a great cause. coming up next, the five plays secret santa. that s next coming up. rudolph the red nosed reindeer had a very shiny nose and if you ever saw it you would even say it glowed all of the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names they never let poor rudolph join in any reindeer games then one foggy christmas eve santa came to say
taken care of, these are anonymous donors that are paying off lay away accounts. this one gentleman, when he said no, you can t pay for mine and the woman said, i m actually going to pay for it, he burst into tears, which is quite lovely. what do you make of it? i think it s fantastic. it s what we should all do. there are so many bad stories, this is a great story. i remember last year hearing about a waitress who had been down on her luck and she ended up with a tip of $5,000 tip. anonymous. it was cash. she never knew who left it. probably was greg, too. i want to tell awe true story. every year, a group of us put together christmas presents. we ask our neighbors, there is an orphanage. there are two of them, one in my neighborhood and one in another neighborhood. but they get together to do christmas songs and things every year. we gave all of our christmas presents to these kids in this one orphanage and they found out that the kids in the other orphan age did not get any
you leave that on there. miss kimberly. we like you better on the show when you re hung over. this is for you, darling. let s go. okay. eric baldwin? is that what that is? okay. this is actually a handsome picture of you. it s starting to get weird. it s the first time i ve gotten a picture of a guy framed. i m sure. i figured you don t see me enough. this is so cute. there is elf on a shelf greg in a box. you need inspiration when you re working. you can look at me and go, if only greg were here to help. because i always sit across from you during the show. you re the only one that s dressed in these pictures. of course, you can always take that picture out and replace it. i got it. that s very nice. very thoughtful. don t tell me the christmas spirit hasn t gotten you.
