I was alarmed when, after 2016, so many commentators and analysts tweeted interference in the 2016 election as unprecedented somehow. To me, when something is treated as unprecedented, it suggests theres no historye behind it suggesting its easy to create myths and lies about something so what i do is restore history to the subject and devote the dangerous myth that this is all combined to the 2016 election. Only 12 miles east of where hurricane laura made landfall. It did make landfall as a category two, and the forecast appears to have been quite accurate as a relates to the searc wind and rain. Highest totals were in lake charles. Additionally the baton rouge area received over 10 inches of rain in the same time. , evenas a very big storm if it was not as powerful as hurricane laura. It was bigger. It is obvious the hardest hit areas appeared to be southwest of louisiana. Obviously this was a serious, that, powerful storm produced significant amounts of damage. Alreadye get there, we know there will be damage in southwest louisiana that will be very difficult to differentiate what was cause by hurricane laura and what was caused by hurricane delta, but we know tens of thousands of inisiana and as we speak are a difficult situation, and we will do everything we can working with federal and local partners to make sure we are addressing their needs as soon as we also became your the thanna
