Joe, Philadelphia Police department was made aware of todays White Nationalist rally ahead of time as aprication the department had number of officers present and that precaution of course comes after months of similar gatherings in other parts of the country where these kind of these kind of protests became violent and in some cases even deadly. Counter protesters responded organizing around this entire group to denounce the heritage of White Supremacy. We cannot share much of the audio from this gathering and counter protests because much of it is lace width pro fan nat. Interaction between the two groups went on for half an hour. Few tense moments but Philadelphia Police made sure to be barrier between the White Nationalist group and counter protesters. Neighbors are saying this was a family feud with a bizarre twist. Now police are trying to figure out just how it turned deadly. Family members shaken as they learn what happened inside this home on east cambria street in north philadelphia. Police say a 60 year old man is dead. His 26 year old step daughter suffering from a hammer to the head. The twist, police dont know how her step dad died. Blood running downside of her head. Neighborhood robert was fixing his bike just before 4 00 oclock this afternoon when he says the young woman came running out of her home screaming. He hit her in the head with the hammer. Police found the man dead on the floor of his home with no visible injuries. Authorities say an autopsy will be conducted to figure out what killed him. Until then, homicide isnt being ruled out.
