State education leaders have failed for decades to comply with laws requiring them to foster integration in schools, according to a new report by a state oversight committee.
"We know that the high cost of child care is holding back our families, our providers, and our economy from their full potential," Gov. Maura Healey said.
Students still have time to fill out their FAFSA forms in Massachusetts, state education officials said at Tuesday's Board of Elementary and Secondary Education meeting, but should plan on doing so "as soon as possible" to navigate around the chaotic rollout of federal changes to the form.
