KUALA LUMPUR: Oil and gas services firm Eastern Pacific Industrial Corporation Bhd (EPIC) has placed bids for local fabrication jobs and in Brunei, which is its first venture to the sultanate and the combined value for both bids is close to RM130 million, its chief executive Ramli Shahul Hameed said. “I am quite confident one or two jobs would be ours…this is the first time EPIC is trying for Brunei. Estimated value of this Brunei bid is RM30 million. For local jobs with Carigali Hess Operating Company Sdn Bhd, ExxonMobil Malaysia Sdn Bhd, these tenders are close to about RM80 to RM100 million,” Ramli said at a briefing here on March 26. EPIC is bidding for the fabrication jobs via its unit, EPIC Mushtari Engineering Sdn Bhd (EME). EME is involved in onshore and offshore minor fabrication, plant shutdown activities, maintenance and repair activities.
