Chains required on interstate 80 and highway 50 and caltrans resorts closing down for a week starting tomorrow amid coronavirus concerns. We take a look at the wet weather system we are dealing with now. This is a classic winter storm moving into the bay area towards the sierra. The numbers are not excessive, but still we are talking measurable rainfall after a memorable february. San francisco over a half inch of rainfall. Close to a third of an inch for concorde. San jose just over a 10th of an inch. Santa rosa not nearly as much just under a 10th of an inch. As we take a look at the camera right now, looking towards the Golden Gate Bridge, we have a bit of a break in the action, breaks in the clouds up to the north.
