The FredNats finished this 12-game home stand with an 11-1 record after a 7-2 series finale win over the Lynchburg Hillcats. Jacob Young had three hits and a home run, Jeremy De La Rosa homered, and Dustin Saenz beat the Hillcats for the second time in the series.
In front of more than 5,000 fans for the second time in three days, the FredNats won their 8th straight game 6-2 over the Lynchburg Hillcats in the series opener between the two North Division rivals.
In the first home game in 16 days, the FredNats showed out for the home crowd to the tune of an 8-0 shutout win over the Delmarva Shorebirds in the series opener. Jackson Rutledge pitched a career-high seven shutout innings with eight strikeouts, Sammy Infante went deep twice, and T.J. White and Jeremy De La Rosa also jumped on the home run train in the win.
Brady House hit his third homer of the season in the 8th inning, but the FredNats lost the series opener 5-3 to Delmarva on Tuesday afternoon at Perdue Stadium.
